Silver calipers - Which other Mercedes are they shared with?
As the title states I’m looking to do some cross referencing for parts. I’ve read the silver calipers are shared with other MB cars , it just didn’t state which ones.
Does anyone on here know?
My issue, I need caliper dust boots. All these websites list AMG GT/S with red calipers. Never any choice for the silver ones. I took the chance and ordered them anyways and of course they don’t fit. The silver calipers have bigger pistons.
If I can just find out what other MB car uses the front silver calipers I’ll order the dust boots for that model. I even tried the dealer and they couldn’t get me a part number.
When I took mine apart they had Akebono dust boots which I’m sure aren’t original and they were all mostly torn/didn’t look to fit so well. So no getting part numbers there.
I powder coated my calipers all nice and fresh now just need the finishing touch. Yes the rotor is dirty in the pic. Just from being handled during install. It will be nice and clean when I’m done.
