Regarding PPF, since you are in SoCal, would Highly recommend Sean Heiland of Ultimate Shield in Orange.
A perfectionist, he and team do Exceptional, meticulous work, and they did Full coverage PPF on two of my vehicles including the GT R.
He's also trusted to do work on serious collectors' vehicles (Jerry Seinfeld, etc), and his Cash price happened to come in below other regarded shops.

I personally went with machine cut patterns (avoids any potential risk of blade nicking the paint, no matter how surgical the skill) instead of the pricier hand cut method, but had wrapped edges on more critical components such as Hood, etc. Also had the thicker PPF applied to the CF front splitter and the CF side skirts for added protection.

Most notable, is Sean's post-install service. His level of service in this space is rare.
