Track day was cancelled due to Covid unfortunately....also strange as they ran all last year for the most part.

I'll just have my thoughts from daily driving for the first bit. Next track day will be in April.

i feel like i should jump in here. been running a eurocharged tune since last winter 585whp 638w lb ft. it was exactly what they advertised on their site. the Cinncinnatti location has been great to work with. idk why you would even look at anyone elses tune. 489/456 stock to those numbers is a ridiculous amount of power for the money.

EDIT: mine is a gts not gtr but still thats a fantastic tune.

Almost makes me wish my warranty would hurry up and run out so I could go check out a tune job. Would love to drive a before and after, the curves are really impressive.

I would start with a basic tune and go from there. If you ever wanted to go bigger we just charge the difference between stages to upgrade. One other thing you might want to consider before turbos is doing fuel pumps and then blended fuel (E50 etc) Makes great power!

so I have a 2020 GT-R and been having a problem with a stage 1 tune with weistec. Would do pulls on the highway and around 4-6k rpm the car would go into limp mode. Cel would light up but had the car scanned and no codes shows up. Does my TCU need to be tuned?

Sounds like what was happening to my 2016 GTS, but that was due to a bad driveshaft. My AMG tech said that an exhaust leak could potentially cause that sort of issue as well. Shouldn't have anything to due with TCU tuning, as that's an optional addon. Could also be transmission related.

My gtr was dyno tuned by eurocharged Cincinnati, the tune is very aggressive and changed how the car drove completely… it is scary fast and the downshift pops sound amazing
654 hp at the wheel ( catless downpipes and air intake combo)

Those guys at the Cincinnati store know mercedes engines inside out..

owner has a gtr himself (hell magno green) and their top tech has a E63

I thought your was/is for sale.? Is there any difference between what OE offers and Eurocharged? Is that a Stage 1 or 2 tune?

Also why does EC list stock HP at 552?

STAGE 1

The Eurocharged engineers and calibrators create custom reprogramming of the engine control unit. This ECU software is developed on the dyno and verified with multiple runs and logs. All vehicle safety parameters remain untouched and will function as the manufacturer designed. Like all Eurocharged products, Stage 1 is perfectly safe and reliable for years of worry-free use.

It is for sale. I was told you gave them a call and offered your gtr to them aswell

it is a stage 2 tune.. made custom for the car by their engineer. I have no idea what OE offers.. i was specifically looking for a dyno tune and eurocharged are best when it comes to mercedes

542 was wheel hp after installing downpipes and adding air intakes. 665 after the tune. Best decision ever.

When mercedes say the car makes 577 hp it is usually a smaller number that gets to the wheels

Hi can you folks quickly build a shop in the San Francisco Bay area? Preferably within 10 or so miles of my house. I am assuming you can get that done in a few months just for little ole for me

One of these days- I will definitely be hitting you up- the reputation you guys have and the info I see you guys helping people with on this site has earned my business. Not that my business means all that and a bag of chips.

And FWIW I agree with the folks saying take the 'upgrades' one step at a time. I live up in the little mountains in the SF Bay area and every weekend someone wraps their expensive car around a tree and in speaking to the volunteer FD rescue folks it seems like a lot of people toss in too much extra power, come up here to test it out and they assume the car will behave identically to the stock spec and they get carried away. At least that is the story they get if the driver/owner is able to speak.

I just tuned my 2018 GTR with Eurocharged. I installed downpipes and intakes over the weekend and received the handheld tuning device last week from them.
I emailed the ID file from my car on Monday morning and within two hours had a reply with a file for my car based on the modifications I had. I loaded it and took it for a quick drive. The difference is huge!
