Any idea what this is?
Hi Guys,
I need to replace my battery (Lithium ION) was going to put a heavy duty AGM one in but they dont have the connection my current one has as in the picture. Any ideas as to what this connection / lead is for please? Its on the negative terminal, so would i just be able to cut and join to earth leads?
TIA

Hi,
This is the bus connection (LIN B15) to the front SAM.
Think this transmit the current state of charge of the lithium-ion battery.
Pull the connector off. (Pull back the gray tab) and do NOT connect it to ground.
If you get a fault, (Donīt know) you may have to decode the lithium ion battery.
Kind regards.
