Need some help - VIN and/or Part Number
Hey Fellas -
I was at the dealership today and we were talking about slapping in some Recaro Pole Position seats into the car. My TikT roll cage should be here in a couple of weeks.
Issue is, I cannot find a seat bracket that works in the AMG GTR (Pro) or otherwise; however, I do know the European models come with the Recaro Pole Position installed from factory.
So what I was curious about was if anyone knew the part numbers from those cars, or, if someone who owned one would be generous enough to share their VIN. The guys at the dealership said if they have the VIN then they can find the part number and order direct from Germany.
Or...if anyone else has successfully installed a racing seat into their car - which bracket did you use?

Hi,
Here are the seat console part numbers for the GTR with sports seats (code 244):
Right: A 190 910 49 03
Left: A 190 910 50 03
The price in Germany 3460.- € for both sides. That should be around 4,000 USD in the USA. :-(
Basically, the seat mount in the GT should be the same as for the SLK R172. (The other seat consoles have an A172 number)
check for used mechanical R172 seat consoles, (Think its cheap for a test fit) or look for a Recaro Pole Position conversion kit for the R172.
Should be right. (No guarantee, I haven't done that myself yet)

Unfortunately I don't have the Pro in my EPC.

Hey - I did actually. Spoke with them some time ago regarding the seat. They were hoping to have a new seat out in May; however, due to some manufacturing and the discontinuation of the 'ears' by Porsche it didn't sound optimistic and the price may be getting out of hand - especially with what Mercedes seemed to want to charge for the brackets.

Hi im new here to the forum, just recently acquired an amg gts 2017 and i was wondering if anyone can help me get part numbers for the edition one side skirts and front lip, any help is much appreciated thank you!
