Is it really more practical? That is a pretty big space for rather large pieces of stuff to get mashed into the driver's head and chest. At least the F1 halos can keep tired and other hefty items off your grape.
Speedsters are the opposite of practical. A throwback to classic race cars that can look extremely cool; this one just doesn't. Looks like a bike with training wheels. Oddly proportioned for the sake of safety vs looks; something Ferrari, McLaren or Aston Martin didn't bother with
I think the GT convertible is one of the most beautiful looking cars on the road. I think that modification just completely ruined it. That’s my personal opinion.
