No Carbon Fiber Strip on GTR Pro Inside Door Panel
QUESTION:
Was there some option that had to be ordered before that inside door panel strip was carbon fiber or was there a build error with my vehicle?
COMMENT:
Such errors _can_ happen ... a new 1983 300D "turbo-tractor" I purchased had a VIN tag in the window that was different from the VIN tag on the door pillar. That was "fun."
Question 2: Do you happen to have the build sheet for your car?
Question 3: Is CF interior trim one of the options when you order a GTR?
Question 4: Sometimes there is and "Extended" option for a trim. Was "Extended" selected for you car?
Question 5: On all the pictures that you have seen carbon trim on door panels was the console Piano Black finished or they were CF?

2: Yes, attached (with some info removed for privacy).
3: Named options that may be applicable are: H77 (trim) and 5U9 (interior strut).
4: Don't know.
5: Don't know ... but the piano black I was referring to was the outside console trim ... the cup-holder cover/etc. is in matte CF.
It's not really a huge issue, more curious whether an error was made since I've not noticed any GTR Pro pics that didn't show the CF strip. However, if it is an error, I'll request that it be updated. $;-)
The WIS to which I have access does not have the build sheet for this car, so the attached build-sheet info is from on-line sites. If you can look it up in on-line WIS, I can PM you the VIN.
I would think the odds of an error in the build of a GTR would be pretty rare to not possible, if you saw how these are hand built (see another recent thread with a video). It is not something like a Corvette where the possibility of a build error is much more real because of the shear build volume.

One option mine doesn't have (thank goodness) is the console track pad ... it has the faithful ol' knob (which I _much_ prefer!).
