This cage is fantastic. Beautifully finished, light, installs remarkably well.

Seat and Harnesses shortly. Seat should be delivered this week I believe.

 

What does it do?

 

Looks cool and does roll cage things?

 

That's what I figured.

 

Ideally keep me planted well in the seat via harness and fingers crossed save my life in a roll.

Our 6.6 Kg light Clubsport roll-bar is suitable for all GT /S/R vehicles that were delivered without roll-bar.

 

I don't know why but a picture just didn't show but now does.. Interesting combo of metal and CF.

 

I’ll be home tonight or tomorrow and take some better photos of how the put it together. Pretty impressed though

TiKT is great to work with. Have a few pieces from them and the comm is top notch

Mostly teleporting. I’ve learned Delorean style.

 

Seat is the carbon fibre recaro poll position.

harness and HANS device are both from schroth

Great! I'm planning to go the same route. Great if you inform what parts you are getting? Can you fasten the Scroth harness on the Tikt roll cage?

 

No problem at all man and yes you can attach the harness to the cage!

Have you already mounted these parts so you know it fits? What about rails and side mounts on seats? I ask because I must order these abroad and its very difficult to exchange if I order wrong.

 

I have not. Hoping in the next couple weeks.

Great. I won't have time to do this install before later this autumn, so if it's ok I follow your process with install and do same later. One question, how do you fasten the harness on roll cage? I can't see that the Tikt rollcage has a bar to fasten harness. And I don't think the carbon bar installed in car can handle the forces from a harness. Also, how do you plan to attach the sub straps? Sorry for all questions....

I can appreciate how the TiKT design preserves the OEM rear CF strut bar, in contrast to the MB Roll Bar which omits the same.
But also wondering - where does one attach harness to TiKT roll bar? It does not appear designed for this application.

 

This is a hell of a question...I will email and find out....now that it is installed...
