Install My Coil Over's Myself Like I've Always Done?

I hate working on cars now that I'm not 25 and swore that I'll never install something that takes many hours and is back breaking without a lift, but with these insane Scottsdale, AZ quotes (half the problem, along with the car itself) I've been getting to install my new Renntech coil-over sleeve kit, I may consider doing it myself, especially as a spring compressor isn't needed (so I've read). It looks like our cars are no more complicated that any other car that I've installed suspension components on. What do you all consider a fair price for the installation (not including the alignment)? Thanks in advance.

1500?! damn, so the 800-1,000 i'm being quoted by well-known euro shops doesn't seem that terrible now.

yeah I had it done at a dealership by an AMG tech who had done numerous installs. And it included an alignment. The problem I had was that I had to much negative camber and needed to get it aligned again but this was after I ordered shims. If you do it at an independent shop you need to make sure that they have the shims in stock if you want the alignment done right.

Make sure that you’re around to adjust final height, so you can get the height exactly where you want front and rear.
