I currently have a 2017 GT but am looking at a 2019 GTC. I know HP increase and wide body. what else should I be aware of? how does the ride compare to my GT? This will be my daily driver, no track time.
I appreciate your insights. thank you.

Depends how your GT is spec'd. For sure bigger brakes, rear wheel steering, DPP. Possibly suspension, exhaust, interior options.
THX WOLFMAN, BUT DEALER (PORSCHE, WAS TRADED IN ON GT3 RS) SAYS NO REAR STEER, says he checked with MB dealer. was it standard or optional? maybe not in 2019?

Every GTC has rear wheel steering. Dealers are often clueless on other brands options.
-Freer-flowing exhaust ports, larger heat exchangers for the liquid-to-air intercoolers, and a reduced compression ratio 9.5:1 instead of 10.5:1 on the gt and gts.
-Operating with a peak boost of 18.1 psi .( same turbos as Gtr with slightly less bosst pressure , Gtr engine runs 19.6 psi ) peak boost pressure—14.5 psi for the Gt engine and 16.0 psi for the Gts.
-The gt and gts get a wider-ratio gearbox coupled to a 3.67:1 final drive, while the Gtc and Gtr transmissions have a higher first and a lower seventh gear attached to a 3.88:1 rear end.
First gear is about 5 percent taller than in the Gt and Gts gearbox, second through sixth are 5 percent shorter, and seventh is almost 14 percent shorter.Gtc overall gear ratio is very close to the seven-speed dual-clutch in the Porsche 911 GT3.
-Rear lower suspension pilow ball ( same as Gtr)
-Carbon cross member under car ( same as Gtr)
-Adaptive suspension ( compared to standard gt series) , most comfortable of all series . ( due to different spring rate and active engine mounts )
-Race mode ( compared to standard gt series)
-Exhaust button ( compared to standard gt series)
-Rear electronic differential (compared to standard gt series)
-Nappa leather on dashboard , door cards , seats (compared to standard gt series and Gtr)
-19 front and 20 inch rear wheels (compared to standard gt series) 12.0-inch-wide rear wheels with 305/30ZR-20 tires instead of the 11-inchers with 295/30ZR-20s on the Gts.
_rear activer Gtc engine produces 550 horsepower at 6250 rpm and 502 lb-ft at 1900 rpm,
"AIRPANEL active air management system.
Vertical louvres in the bottom of the front apron can be opened and closed by an electric motor in around one second to guarantee the required amount of cooling. Constantly achieving the ideal position calls for highly intelligent and fast control.During normal driving with no increased cooling demand, the louvres are closed for reduced drag and the air is directed at the underbody. This improves the aerodynamic efficiency of the vehicles. Only when certain components reach predefined temperatures and the air demand is particularly high do the louvres open to allow the maximum cooling air flow to the heat exchangers.
As part of this new design measure, the engine oil cooler on all AMG GT 2018 models has moved from the front to the wheelarches. On the other hand, the main radiator retains its place at the front. "
-Rear Wheel steering "The Gtc and Gtr use electronic steering actuators to move each wheel independently up to 1.5 degrees in either direction. This small change in wheel toe, as it is called, shortens the virtual wheelbase of the car at low speeds and lengthens it at high speeds by switching direction at 62 miles per hour. Basically, the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction of the front wheels below 62 miles per hour and in the same direction above 62 miles per hour. Basically, the change in the virtual wheelbase is achieved by artificially increasing and decreasing the turning radius.
-Speed Sensitive Sports Steering
In addition to rear-wheel steering, the Gtc and Gtr also continuously adjusts its steering ratio, another turning radius trick, to make the car more stable at high speeds."
You are amazing !!! I knew some of this not all!!!
I made the upgrade from a 16 GTS to an 18 GTC -- More car, more options , more money but I felt and still feel that it was worth it 200%
Just my opinion...

Can you provide the changes for the 2020 GTC relative to the 2018?
Can you provide the changes for the 2020 GTC relative to the 2018?
Main change for the 2020 series :
"Fully digital 12.3-inch instrument-cluster display has been added along with a new larger (10.3-inch) multimedia-center display.
The center console has been redesigned with capacitive display buttons and an optional touchpad infotainment interface.
The new steering wheel features AMG Drive Unit controls, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration is now standard.
There's also a new AMG Track Pace virtual race engineer COMAND application, so you can monitor your lap times.
New AMG Dynamics systemBasic (Advanced, Pro, and Master settings) which acts as a higher-level coordinator of all the car's sensors to maximize traction and stability.
Front camera.
2020 GT'S are way quieter exhaust wise, the exhaust valve close almost instansly when you drive/rev the engine compared to the 2019 and previous year model.
An Evm module is much needed to "open up" the exhaust . ( secondary cat delete is a must on 2020 year )
NO OPF on the 2020 US Gt's series.
New headlight design ( brighter/clearer vision at night)
New tailights (dark red /smoked)
New wheels design added.
From my GTS with all the performance goodies and a GTC, I couldn't "feel" much of a difference. They were too close, as a result the GTS got dropped in American market and consequently completely from the lineup and replace by a GT with more performance options. . The GTS presence was ultimately inconsequential.

So, my 2020 GTC in Matte Gray is probably one of the last?
True story: We were leaving a Nordstrom junk store. As we rounded the corner to where the car was parked, I noticed someone walking around the car. It was a pretty Asian girl. Bout 19? Very animated. She's looking around to see if there someone, anyone, close by to go "LOOK!!!". And no one was there until we got close. When she saw us she asked if was ours and that it was her dream car. Sweet moment. Do you get that on occasion?
So, my 2020 GTC in Matte Gray is probably one of the last?
I’m not certain if it’s "one of the last," but it’s close! Here is some data:
The last model year (MY) was 2021. In the US, approximately 9,400 units of the 2020 and 2021 GT and GTC models were sold (this number includes some GTRs, but there is no clear breakdown of each model). MY 2021 GT and GTC models were sold during 2021, 2022, and the last inventory in 2023.
(Most of the 2020 GTCs were produced in 2019, with very few made in 2020 due to the factory shutdown during COVID. I’m not 100% sure, but if the VIN has 'LA' in digits 10 and 11, it indicates a 2019 production date).
