Shims for AMG GTR Pro

Shims for AMG GTR Pro
Hi,
I am going to buy shims for control arms to increase the camber for my GTR Pro. I have searched and see that I need the part # 1973570600 which is a set. Do I need one or two sets to increase the camber for both front sides.
Also, to increase the camber at the rear, do I also need shims to increase camber? If so what part # do I need.
I hope somebody know. Thanks.

You'll need two sets of the shims you mentioned, front/rear are the same.
Unlike the shims on porsche - the MB shims cannot be staggered - which means each individual shim represents a different measurement and it is a lengthy process to get to the desired setting.
The good things is that once it's set, it won't change.

i just did my alignment and have two 95% complete boxes of shims. They will have exactly what you need as I took negative camber OUT of my car, which obviously uses different shims than what you will need. I will sell them for far less than what you'll pay at the dealer. PM me if interested and I'll send a few pics.

A GTR has from factory 2.0 front 1,8 rear in camber. That work perfectly on road, but scrubs a bit on track. My friend has got a Nordscleife setup with 2,8. He is happy with setup for Roald and track, but for me that i to much to start with.
I don’t know the base setup for Pro but some says it’s 2.2 an 2.0 front/rear from factory. Maybe someone here knows?

I had mine set up with -2.5 F and -2.2 R and there were zero issues driving it on the street, plus no additional tyre wear that I could appreciate. Just make sure the toe is set correctly!

I got 5 mm spacers from H&R, and works great. IMHO that is a bit more subtle and you still have the ring on hub for to center wheel correctly.
