Hi Pautap1,

There's nothing like pictures. Thanks. Here you can see exactly that the whole exhaust system is one unit.

Yes, those are the flaps. You need the input or output diameter where the welding was done.

Is that your exhaust system? If so, please take a detailed photo.
Also check if there is anything written on the flaps, numbers or the manufacturer. (e.g. Pierburg?)

Best regards

Stenzel

ah, no this isn’t my exhaust, I found this picture on the AMG forum. I’ll have to take a look at my own exhaust to get some more detailed pictures. I do have one question though. Do you know if the performance exhausts from the 2016-2021 were all the same? Or do the different years have different exhausts?

Hi ,

The look of the tailpipes makes no difference. They are not a direct part of the exhaust system.
These are screwed into the bumper as a design element and vary in the GT/GTS/GTC depending on the package (Night or Carbone), typ and model year.

The downpipes are all the same too. (EC later with OPF = Otto Particle Filter" )

Know 4 different GT exhaust systems (cat back):

1. GT/GTS without flaps. (possible for early model years)
2. GT/GTS/GTC with flaps (performance exhaust)
3. GTR / GTR PRO (always with flaps)
4. GTBS (always with flaps)

Others are not known to me.

Best regards

Stenzel
