I'm a retired (computer) geek and find that UIs, in general, are degrading at an alarming rate ... and MBZ is following suit with the resulting increase in "must take eyes off road" and reduction in safety. Here's one of my rants on this topic:

(... and if they think their AI-based "I'm smarter than you and can guess what you want" evolution is going to eliminate this issue by automating everything, then I pity those engineers contorted with their heads in _that_ position)

This new SL is definitely not a worthy replacement to an AMG GT convertible..

its alot smaller and heavier
