After two years of *thinking* about it, I finally did it! Thanks to all of you who offered your opinions and advice as I mulled it over (and over and over and over - lol).
I finally found what I wanted with all the options I wanted and none that I didn't. Not my #1 color but I like it.
She has Dynamic Plus and Burmester Surround plus the Distronic and the CF exterior package.
I've only driven her from the dealership back to my house since it's less than 32 degrees here currently but I can honestly say it was worth it.
Congrats. I see you're in Virginia. I just bought my 2020 a couple of weeks ago from MB of Fredericksburg. I got a red one as well, even though it's not my #1 color.

Ha thanks! I got mine from MB of Fredericksburg too. They seem to have the best inventory and move more of these than any other dealer except for a dealership in Illinois. I had to wait for them to get one that met all my specs.
This is my 2nd AMG GT. I bought my 2019 Roadster from MB of Hoffman Estates (Illinois). It was a nice drive back. I actually in in DC. I called probably 15 MB dealers across the US, and with the exception of Hoffman & Fredericks, they were all pretty trash. I was very happy with my experiences at both. Do you have any plans for your heviclke in terms of upgrades/mods?

Until I get more used to it, probably a governor - lol. Thing's a rocket ship on tires
Cardinal Red is amazing in the sunlight, but even better under parking lot lights. It's like Candy Apple Red was blended with Burnt Orange highlights. It opens a new color spectrum that wasn't previously visible to the human eye.
It's nice to see the GT in it's original form, sans spoilers, splitters, etc. The design is timeless.
