Fountain Hills Concours in the Hills
Mercedes:
These last two years have produced a good crop of old standards, restomods...impressive to me. The 59 Chevy/409 was perfect:
A VERY small sampling of some exotics:
The Star of the show (actually two stars). The Pagani is VIN 0001 ($6M); powered by an AMG V12. The bike was perfect!
4 or 5 helicopters showed up, here's one:

The car next to the S7 was the AM one-77 (Repeat from the last week's CC) I try not to post dups. The racing Gullwing...donno... Just did a pic of it BC of the SL300 part. There were over a 1,000 cars there. It is hit or miss if you get to talk to an owner. From 10 to 3 pm, they move around. I talked to a "handler" babysitting the Pagani so found out about the S/N 1 and the worth. He wouldn't give up who owns it, but it came in from Beverly Hills...so someone...Dwane Johnson owns one, so does Zuckerberg, but neither of theirs is white.
I even saw my first Bentley GT there. I know it was mine. Have no idea who owns it now, but it was there. There were 4 or 5 helicopters there, two were military. All done to really reach a big $$$$ number for the charity.
BTW, the Veyron is owned by one of the Barrett Jackson principals.
