My world for some Spirax!
So, it appears that Spirax S5 ATE (Rear diff) is out of stock around the globe. Lubefinder.com, where most folks get it from, is out of stock, and notes on the web is that Shell isnt making any more at the moment.
So with that said, has anyone used an alternative 75w-90 on their car? I cant find any info on someone changing to a different brand.

Have you found the Shell DCT F3 yet?

I know when I changed my fluids last year I called Amsoil and asked if their DCT fluid was compatible. At the time they said no but they might have done further research and found out their product does work. You might consider calling them and asking again.

I have 2.5 quarts of Spyrax left over from my change. If I recall that is is enough to change out about 75% of the fluid so you might need to reuse a small amount to get to the full level. If you want to buy what I have let me know. Also have 4 quarts of the Ravenol fluid for the transmission as well that I did not use.
