Maybe get pro-active and have your dealer call MBUSA and make a case for one. Have them describe you and how you would intend to use it. Maybe you could at least get on a consideration list, especially if you're not already well known to AMG. Maybe you are already, but 55 is an awfully small number. I hope it works for you.

Now that I have a membership to the new Rocky Mountain Motorsport track plus other events, I am going to be around 20-30 track days.
Way too many track days for the PRO.
I test drove a RUSH Auto Works car, and I did not really like it. I had considered maybe a radical, but track days are a bit more limited.
Because I am half retarded, I want to build a car out of a 3rd gen Camaro something very similar to what Detroit Speed has done.

i was at area27 a year or two back and a guy had a dedicated c6 track car and it was savage. Beautiful and quick.
