Thanks BBS63! I really like the Renntech diffuser for sure it is my favorite, so that is a really good possibility. Downpipes seem very popular but I have not been in a GTS with them, I don't want to make it too loud since it is my daily driver (it does make it louder rigth?). But I am after the HP gains so downpipes and a Renntech tune could be the way to go, very tempted. Renntech HQ is about an hour and 30 min drive from where I live. I have not seen any used Renntech carbon pieces but I will look for them.
Here is the link for the mirror caps, took about 5 weeks to get them, the quality is really great. I added more 3M double sided tape as the one provided was only on the edges. Used a hair dryer to soften the tape before install, no more than 30 sec. It went on like a glove and the fit was spot on. https://www.ebay.com/itm/174941713909

The red trim on your ac vents looks great on your car. Where did you buy them? I have not seen any that are specific to the AMG GT series cars.
IkeCan, man hard to admit it but I really wanted aluminum iodized red trim and I could not find it for the GTS, so I went ahead and bout 2 sets of these (link). You need to buy 2 sets to have enough small ones to do the 4 vents in the middle. You will have some bigger ones as left overs. For the total price I did not mind having to get two sets. the fit was perfect and the lip on them makes it easy to install correctly. They shine and look durable.

Thanks for the link. Yes the DP make it louder, but afaim concerned it doesnt sound obnoxious, to me it sounds like its supposed to sound. And if you dont want it loud you can quiet it down with the pres of a switch on your console. And yes with a Stage 2 tune power is very noticable. I will attach 2 sound clips before DP and after I installed them. Honestly, the sound recording does not do it justice how great it sounds.
Those look like really cool options. I’d love to see some installation instructions to see what all is involved. Like how much of the car are we tearing apart to install them, but I really like that it utilizes the existing screen etc…
Another member did this a couple of years ago and newer CarPlay modules work much better than before, yet nothing is quite "factory" with the exception of the full MBHouse install.
We use only use Apple CarPlay in our GTC; it's wireless and works well enough for Waze and music.
Thanks Wolfman, I will look into it. I have also found the Carplay from DMP Car Designs which you change the entire screen...but I have not seen anyone on a GTS that has done it.

I did it on my old GTC. It looks nice but it's still buggy and very fussy to use. If I did it all over again, I'd do the factory conversion of just leave it alone altogether.
I hear what you are saying Skilly, and if there were Dealers or shops that did really good installs I would pay the price. Most dealers don't want to even discuss a screen upgrades and coding of any type. Here is South Florida it is hit or miss with what you pay and what you get when getting things installed, no matter where you go you'll find later a broken tab, missing screw, scratched up panels. I have had so many bad experiences that now I take my chances and do the upgrades myself. Tech updates to older models should not be this hard, If I didn't have Apple CarPlay in my other two cars I would not miss it in the GTS.
I am leaning towards DMP Car Design 12.3 inch touch screen with CarPlay and Android. When I do the install, I will make sure to take some pics to post.

So a couple of things to help:
1. a dealer won't do this. They only work with the VIN details that show the car at the time of "birth" and unless there is an upgrade packaged by MB for the update they don't have the means for reprogramming etc.
2. The DMP system is the one that I had - its "OK". Certainly worked better than some of the Joye options etc. That said, it's still clunky. It runs its own mic and gets confused sometimes when using handsfree function. It operates under the same principle as the system routing all of its sound through the USB input. So to get radio etc, you have to route back to the formfactor MB software etc. If you aren't a huge fan of CarPlay it's for sure not worth it. It looks a LOT like the updated system but its not all that....on the upside, it does introduce touch screen which isn't available in the updated OS GT systems.

Didn't you have an annoying issue with the rear camera on that screen?
In regards to our install, the module we have isn't very buggy but doesn't like switching between phones although both are paired. We tried a Joyeauto before and that was junk. We use a Road Top. Rearview camera is flawless. Speaker phone less so but the car was never good handsfree. Either way, I think the MBHouse one is the way to go; it's just not worth $4-5k to me. Might as well get a facelift car instead

youre right - when I did it I had to update the rear camera...ugh. Memories.
Added the newer Mercedes Star in black and wrapped the chrome on the sides... First time doing wrap, and yes my AMG is missing the /// must have been a rock that hit it. Something to look to change now...
Went ahead and upgraded the screen to the DMP car design system using the 12.3 touchscreen, works well, everything OEM works on it and adds Apple CarPlay. It does have the ability to add a front camera which I plan to do eventually. I would have to remove the front bumper (to do it right) and I have never done that.
Install is involved but there are some videos out there to help and follow, pretty much everything fits only in one place once you are doing it. DMP is very responsive too via Whatsapp for any questions.
Added a front/rear Nextbase dashcam too, you can see the front one peeking at the top of this pic
Nope, the newer star (with glass like background) comes in black and you can see it plenty, as it shines and it is 3 dimensional. I blacked out with the wrap only the chrome on the wings next to the star on both sides to make it all match. It is clearly a Merc no need to hide the brand

Looks great! I hate the chrome up there, so gaudy.
