Removing grill of a 2019 GT?

I need to replace the front emblem and the grill. Does anyone have any instructions on how to remove and replace them? I know the emblem can be taken off by twisting, but what about the grill?

Do you think the grill and emblem is something a regular person can swap out themselves? If not, then it'll make more sense to take it to a bodyshop

l have only done the early grill and not the newer, but sure they’re the same.

the grill must be removed from the inside. The front bumper that includes the grill must be removed. If you are mechanically capable of removing the bumper then you can do it.

just a quick review - there is a row of bolts visible with the hood lifted. Then there are 2 pocket bolts on each end above the headlights and kinda hidden. Then the hard ones - there are 2 bolts on both sides under (and above) the front wheel liners. I had to remove frnt wheels and well liners. Then the row of bolts on the undertray.

Now the bumper should be loose except for the harness. It is a clumsy piece so make sure you’ve thought out ahead of time how/where the bumper will land so you can unplug the harness. It should be intuitive after that.

best with it!

Can we see an image and an explanation on what happened that caused the need for replacement?

Thanks for all the responses. I decided to pay a shop to perform the work. They’re quoting me 2-3 hours to replace #3, #4, #6, #7 (I already purchased the parts). Does that sound right? I have no trouble paying for the work, but would like to be sure I’m not getting ripped off as it happened to me once before.

I also added a photo of the damage.

you don't have to remove the whole grill.

you can remove the center /star it self

turn counter clockwise to remove the center star/ring ...

I need to replace the grill too. Whoever tried to steal the star broke the grill in the process.

The grill doesn't look broken in your pic...

Anyway , it looks more like someone backed up into your car

The same hapenned to my friend's gtr.

He replaced the star/ring without removing the bumper. It was a 2 mn job.

I wish I was that lucky. It's tough to see in the photo but unfortunately, the star mount base (#7 in my picture above) and the area where it attached with the grill were damaged.

It wasn't hit by another car as there was no scrapes or bumps. Someone put a flathead screwdriver to try and remove the star after I parked it in Hells Kitchen NYC one night. Learned my lesson for sure.

I've heard it's in a warehouse in a not so good area of the city.
