can carbon fiber be painted
i pruchased a carbon fiber gtr replica wing for my gtc roadster. I:m on the fence if i want it painted to be gloss black to match my lback gloss side skirt pieces, mirrors , door handles , my wheels and emblems . can carbon fiber be painted and not sure if it wil look weird having carbon and gloss black mix . i tok it to one dealer refferred pant shop and they said it wont hold or last long not sure if they just were too busy and or job too small

Yes, you can paint carbon fiber. I've done it in the past on some of my cars with carbon fiber hoods to give it a more cohesive look.
For my GTS, I got a full carbon fiber spoiler and decided to wrap the base, side plates, and risers instead of painting them. That way if I (or a future owner) decide to go back to the original look, its easy to unwrap. That would be my recommendation.
