On a 9" wide wheel, 275 is the largest size that meets engineering design standards. Of course, physically you can mount all kinds of different sizes both larger than 275 and smaller than 265, but the design integrity of the wheel tire fit is jeopardized.

I did it on my GTC - it rubbed on driveway entry and lock to lock turning. Is it a specific tire you need? If its not, you are talking about a 10mm total difference. Maybe share all of the specs in the question you are asking.

Even someone on here that says they made it work would have to tell you all the other specs to repeat the outcome. Camber, suspension, tire type, wheel, offset of that wheel, width etc. Consider even the differences between a 285 PS4 vs a PZ4 is substantial. The PZ4 in the same size tire narrower than the PS4.

why? You can vary from time to time.
although I would make sure to get wheels that fit it. With the correct offsets.

Yes. I posted this previously: https://mbworld.org/forums/coupe-roa...ml#post8428840

I fit Nitto NT01's in 315/30/20 in the rear and 285/35/19 in the front on a set of spare OEM AMG GT-S wheels I have for the track. No rubbing at all during track days, or when driving home from the track. Tires seem a bit wide for the OEM wheels, but those are the only sizes that the NT01's are available in that make sense. The 315's are good for 10.5" to 11.5" wheels, and the 285's are good for 9.5" to 11.0" wheels.

Did you replace it with something else for the track?

after that I bought the pro and bought an extra set of wheels for real slicks. 19inch in all four corners. Night and day difference.
