Ansix Auto Brake Ducts - anyone ever tried these

Hi everyone,

I'm beginning exploring what it would take to get my car ready for occasional track day use, and what I've read so far is that brake cooling is a top priority (especially for slowing CCB wear), so would love to know if anyone has had experience using the ducts linked below (they seem to be very reasonably priced!)

EDIT~ looks like 1 other user has tried them, and was happy with them

While airflow may not be as concentrated over the entire disk as the Tikt ducts, you can't argue with the price. Something is better than nothing! Would love to hear from anyone in the group that has used these deflectors.

I'm using them with iron rotors on my GT-S and Hawk DTC pads, and they work out well. Not feeling any need to go to Tikt ducts since I put them on. Not having any fade or braking issues. Rotors and pads might last longer with better brake cooling, but track driving with them is fine, and I drive fast, brake late and hard. CCM rotors will have higher peak temperatures than iron rotors, but I have no experience with those. Anyhow very cheap to try the Ansix compared to the super expensive Tikt setup. Try them and if you need more, just sell them and upgrade.

I also use these with stock front rotors and stock front pads. They dropped my rotor temps substantially in demanding high-speed usage, and are letting me stick with the OEM pads instead of having to upgrade to some high-temp track pad. I'm happy with the kit!

@503hp Did you cut the back plates like they outline in the instructions? They're local to me here and I was thinking of picking up a set before track season...

Yes, my mechanic cut the backing plates per the instructions.
