Water-Methanol Injection for GTR/GTC

I am looking for some recommendations on a Water-Methanol injection (WMI) system for the GTR/GTC from someone that actually installed and use such system.
Looking mainly for use on hot track days, to provide additional cooling for intake air , better engine protection and maybe some increases in HP/TQ.

Any recommended brand? (Snow, Weistec, PTG etc.)

Is using the windshield washer tank enough for a 20 min track session? Which nozzle are you using? Did you find a good space in the GT for a larger mixture tank?

Do I need a special tune to use WMI? If yes, is using a 100 Oct map with actual 93 Oct fuel will cut it? any concerns or considerations when running out of water-methanol mixture while on track?

I have noticed that some systems do not have any in-cabin controls, everything is automatic and set with during the initial setup. Is there any adjustment needed to the WMI on a regular basis? Do you recommend a system with in-cabin controller?

What are some of the recommended on-off boost levels?

Any reason Snow is at much lower cost point then Weistec or PTG?

Any pitfalls to watch for?

Any additional info will be appreciated.

I use the kit from Weistec and inserted a compatible fuel cell foam to prevent sloshing.

I burn through about 3/4 a tank during a 20 minute session. I bought the kit with V1 injectors then upgraded to V2. I am using stage 2 nozzles on a stage 3 motor.

A vehicle tuned to incorporate the system as a poer adder will be dependent on the meth as a fuel source. Running out in this case would be bad. A stock tune can use the smallest nozzle and be ok. Running out is still not healthy under wide open throttle.

Didn’t find it necessary.

Mine is set to 9psi on, full by 18psi.

Not sure. Most use AEM hardware including Weistec.

Aftermarket charge pipe would pop off now and again. Fixed using bigger hose clamps.

Thank for the info. Very helpful.

The 20 min on track using 3/4 tank. What is the size of the tank? is that the windshield washer tank (which is 0.8 gallons)?

I had it installed, but its pretty straight forward. It came with instructions specific for the GT.

My car is in storage for another month so unfortunately I can’t take a picture.
