Bought my 2020 AMG GTC. Question for the group on hood warning
I just picked up my CPO’ed AMG GTC. It’s a 2020 and fully specced. Drove it 250 miles back home yesterday and lived it. Noticed a warning pop up on my instrument cluster every time I go over a medium bump - car image with a red hood. Does it mean the car thinks the hood is open? Anyone else experience it and how to fix it? I have opened and shut the hood again with engine on and then the same with engine off to reset any sensors which maybe acting up.

Sounds like a bad switch/sensor, loose connection at the sensor or grounded wire in the harness. Take it back to the dealer.
You have a warranty unless it was a “as is” purchase.
