Steering is jerking
Hello everyone,
I have an interesting situation going on with my 2016 AMG GTS. When I start up the car in the morning there is a belt squeal. If Ii put on the AC the squealing is worst and the steering becomes almost inoperative. Jerky as if the powering steering oil is low. I have checked it and it is to the proper level. There are no codes showing. If I start up there is like a chirp noise however if i leave the car warm up without having the AC on the noise eventually goes away. Does anyone know if any belts are attached to the powering steering pump and AC compressor or is there just one belt? Sorry I haven't had a chance to take a look. I am worried it could be the steering rack but doubt it since this only happens when the car is cold and belts haven't warmed up. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
