Something shredded underneath my car as I was driving on the freeway. 2016 GTS. I believe something plastic first shredded off and I saw it fly behind me. Then I pull over and I see this rubber thing hanging from the bottom front of the car. What could it be?

It's exactly what you said it is...a rubber thingy 🤣
It's just a wind deflector. Should be easy to replace.

Under the car i covered, sounds like you lost the front cover. If you can put your hand up in the lower bumper that's what you lost.

For anyone wondering, the part number is 1905241700. The the entire plastic cover that came off. That also includes the rubber strip.

Does anyone know the part numbers for the other under carriage protection parts? I got a somewhat deep puddle on the interstate and it looks like some of the thick insulation (fiberglass?) type of panels are loose. An initial search on a parts website turned up nothing.
