1:32.8 at Laguna Seca today ! Video
Was hot as hell out there today. 75 at 8:30. Believe it got to 90.
first session PB 1:34.6
2nd session 1:33.4 and some more 1:33
Several weird sessions couldn’t get clean laps.
6th session first lap 1:32.81 😮
what helped and hurt me a little was I had a fast cup car running 1:27s gaining on my after T6. Knew I was on. Good lap so I kept pushing and staying in front. Gap was closed by T11 and was worried he would dive bomb me like a Radical did earlier in the day. Missed the Apex because of that going through my mind. May have been little faster.
amazing day. Sunday my PB on day 2 tires was 1:35.05. Two weeks ago it was 1:36.2.
cooler weather fresh tires I’ll be hunting for 1:31s. 😎

Yes it sure was. New tires. But honestly mostly from better habits. Braking deeper. Just started really working on trail braking a lot. Little better lines using more track. Finally got my racing seats in two track days ago. Honestly that’s been the biggest thing for me. Had them on my C7Z. Not having them for a year on this car has been rough. Can’t feel the car very well hanging on like that. First day after seats. Same tire but day 2 tire so not nearly as grippy I went from 1:36.2 to 1:35.05 which is massive.
