Angry Roadster Windows Won't Roll All the Way Up URGENT HELP NEEDED

My 2020 Roadster driver and passenger window won't roll up all the way. It will go up manually but then it auto goes down about 3 inches when I let off the button. This is my 3rd convertible so know when you put the top down then back up the windows will auto "seal" the last couple of inches. I tried YT and the reset option for the auto windows but did not work. Tried putting top up and down multiple times. Turned off car and back on and tried the top. Nothing working.

My urgency is I am flying out on 9/9 and need to leave my car at the airport. Can't have the windows cracked the whole time. Will call dealer but lots of times they won't help me over the phone.

You may just need to reset the window. Try pushing the window button down until the glass rolls all the way down and continue to hold the button down for 5 to 10 seconds. Then roll up the window and when the glass reaches the top continue to hold the button up for 5 to 10 seconds. After that it should work as designed.

Thanks lgarcia but I tried that already and didn't work I actually had a Benz shop foreman call me and walk me through that as well. Still didn't work. Looks like I may need to run by the dealership and have them look at it. Unless someone else has an idea? I thought my vert top may need to be reset as well that is causing it.

The only other thought I had from YT videos is that the top could be off somehow, not latching on completely. Mercedes provides a wrench that goes into the bottom of the top in the trunk where you latch the roof tight if needed by hand. If this is the case you should see a gap with light going through it. Good luck! Let us know if you figure it out, might help others too.

Thanks again. I actually drove 2 hours today to the dealership. The fix was the windows reset. Where you hold down switch then up a certain way. I tried it a bunch of times before I went but wasn't working for me. It is a little tricky but tech showed me after the fact.

I had this same issue with our GTR Pro after I'd disconnected the battery. I was determined it was just in need of a reset so kept trying. It took many attempts (>10?) but eventually it worked.

I never did understand what "the magic" was ... can you share the difference between what you did via the tech's instruction versus what he did?
