Screw/bolt in the center of the oil filter cartridge housing?

Hi, does anyone know what that screw/bolt that's in the center of the oil filter cartridge housing is? Just did my 4th oil change and noticed it. Thanks.

Hey Stenzel! I hope you are well.

I'm not talking about the filter cartridge itself, I'm referring to the screw/bolt that is in the very center of the end of the cartridge. It turns. Is it a way to drain some oil if one were to overfill?

I think it's a 8mm or 10mm. I overfilled slightly once and thought of that as a way to drain. But ended up siphoning through the oil filler cap.
