Hi guys. Recently purchased a 2019 in the UK in solarbeam. Have read some threads are keeping battery topped up but have a look in the trunk there is definitely nothing to plug the trickle charger into?!

Not sure where your battery is located, or if you have jump start terminals located somewhere im the engine compartment, but wiring in a pigtail adapter to the battery or jump start is your best bet. Many of the 12V accessory sockets switch off when the ignition is shut off. This can sometimes be misleading if there's a time delay of a couple minutes before they shut off. But if you can find a convenientlylocated 12V socket and can confirm it stays active when the ignition is off, you should be able to trickle charge through it.

Suggest you look again ... specifically around the back of the hatch near the corners. On North American cars, the cig/charger socket is on the driver's side. Don't know whether that changes for GB cars. The car should also have come with the MB charger ... if not, ask for it as it's sometimes "forgotten about" by owners who didn't use it.

As dismal and pathetic as my G550 owner's manual is, it does list accessory sockets under "Sockets - 12V", and on the referenced pages, there are sketches showing their locations.
