Hi All,
Newbie here looking for hopefully some simple advice.
I did an oil top up and opened the bonnet to the service position (90 degrees). Just wanting to see how it goes to 90 degrees.
Problem is that I can't get it down again.
I don't want to force it down as it feels like it has clipped into place and fear that I will do some damage if I do that.
Any ideas on how to get it down again?

Thanks for the response.
However, the brackets on my AMG GTS hood do not have any clips that I can see and are a different design to the ones in the video.
Also, the hood goes all the way back without having to press the clips when at the standard "open" position
Or am I looking at the wrong thing - see the photos of the brackets?
Any other help appreciated.

 

Just to let you know that I contacted the local dealer who said there are no clips on the brackets on the hood on the 2020 GTS and to use a bit of brute force to simply push it down rather than try and pull it from the side.
So I did that and after a bit of initial resistance it went down easily.
Just some confidence required and a bit of a shove.
Hope this helps someone else in the same position I was in.
