I borrowed a set of racing scales from a buddy of mine and proceeded to weigh and adjust a few of my cars. The GTR was the heaviest. My car has an aftermarket exhaust, downpipes but otherwise stock with all the options. I weighed the cars with me in them.
GT3 was 3161 pounds with half tank. Recaro buckets, two piece rotors, AP racing calipers, mufflers deleted, roll bar.
996 was 2845 pounds with almost full tank - This is my son's car and it interior is pretty stripped down.
Has anyone done this with their car?
Green Piggy with me in it and almost full tank: A whopping 3672 pounds. Cross weight was dead nuts. Changed to kg for our friends in metric places.
Next task is to get proper track tires (Nankang CRS on their way) and investigate alignment specs.
Niiiice. Also I am interrested in your stock exhaust x pipe (x pipe only, not the rear muffler ) since it seems you have an aftermarket one on yours now... Let me know. Thanks
