Slav at ECC … to the rescue!
Wanted to share a highly positive experience and outcome with Slav and Ben at ECC in Toronto. Tuning is truly an art and science. How do I know this? I used to be involved with a high performance and tuning business.
I was having some ‘unresolved issues’ with a previous tune and decided to start over…an expensive but necessary step.
Slav understands customer service! Very courteous, thorough, and he definitely knows his stuff!! Was stuck in a rut for weeks and he had it resolved in minutes. My car has been unleashed. He diagnosed the issue, resolved it and then optimized my car based on my needs. Wow! It’s like a totally different driving experience.. Power is much smoother, more plentiful and no more bugs or issues.
You get best in class service and results with his expertise! He can do everything remotely which makes it a breeze. I even worked with him to do a live tuning session on a dyno to really dial it in.

I was having a hard time also with my ride, luckily ECC is local to me and took it to them. In one day they fixed the problem, tune, dyno'd it and sent me on my way. Car was night and day awesome after ECC worked on it.

Yes all TUNERS are not created equal. It goes without saying that a tune is only as good as the Tuner.
Interesting that there are already a couple posts that went to Slav after a ‘failed’ tune from another tuner. Add me to this list as well. Learn from our mistakes and choose a top tier tuner out of the gates. Otherwise, you’ll spend more money and have more headaches than expected.

Thankfully, I did not have a blown engine or engine damage. I just had paid for an ECU and TCU tune that wasn’t working properly. I’d get random CELs, the car was limiting power and the tuner couldn’t fix it. No refund or credit offered and it took Slav about 2 minutes to figure out the main issue and another few tune files to validate his tune was delivering everything I was hoping for.
