Need experts’ help with cryptic status of my order: what does “DISY: Vehicle on Hold” mean?

DISY is Mercedes' centralized distribution system that receives messages from various connected distribution points. Your vehicle is on hold and it got reported up to DISY.

Thanks, too many variables and we don’t know what’s the root cause.

Yep, your dealership would have to contact the factory to find out why exactly the car is on hold.
