Downpipes choice
Downpipes choice
I am now considering getting downpipes or full catback system, and the videos never do justice for amg gtr exhausts, sometimes i feel like stock one irl sounds 5 times better than on videos(pre opf). Im stuck choosing between 200cell renntech, redstar catless, or full IPE catback. i like renntech but the videos are always different, sometimes it sounds like tractor, sometimes deep, maybe peoples also have stage upgrades from renntech hence the sound difference, what i like about them is they give ability to buy module that removes CEL that comes with the downpipes. redstar however suggests i go buy one on eurocharged, Can owners with either of those or people who have heard them in real life tell which of them are better choice as in sound? Would also like to know about drone, fitment, and possible CEL fixes if they occur after installation

initially i went with catless but two things to take note of that i dint like: smell of fumes and worst was the raspy sound at WOT as it lost the amg rumble i felt.
Now i have 200 cell catted dp and these are much better imo. The raspyness has gone and the car still sounds great.
as far as catbacks go, never been a fan of those on the big amgs
