Thanks for those links. I'm still kind of confused, though. Why does Meguiar's only market these in their Professional line? Is the idea that when a professional detailer is asked for Zaino he substitutes these at a lower cost? Both of these, the synthetic and the polymer seem more Zaino-like than anything else. I don't understand why Meguiars isn't doing more to market these to the consumer.

well im not sure, but zaino is definately not offered to the consumer easily. in my entirely lifetime i have only seen one type of product by zaino in stores. i forgot what it was but it was interesting. but i am just a fan of meguiars and stuck with them. and Meguiars new Nxt Paste wax and the liquid wax are more of a polymer sealant as opposed to a high gloss wax which was their previous Gold Class wax. i have had both their products and really like the nxt paste wax as the shine it gives off is amazing.

agentf1 - Could you write some personal testimony with your experience using Zaino and Meguiars? I have been using Zaino for several years but would like to try Meguiars NXT. My car spends most every day out in the sun and blowing sand of the Nevada desert, and sometimes is not garaged at night, and maybe this is too much for most any wax.
Also would help being able to buy the product at a local outlet.

^^ you can find zaino at the local store?? ive only seen one and it was the cleaner wax and it was the "turtle wax repackage" if you really want to know, then buy the nxt. only about 15 bucks and you won't be disappointed. if you don't like it, you can use it on friends' and familys' cars. just make sure the surfaces on which you compare them are both the same.
