For washing I use two of the Pinnacle wash mitts (9.5x7.5)...one for the paint and one for the wheels.
For drying I like the purple Cobra waffle weave towels. I usually purchase the 20x40 size and have my wife cut them in half and hem the edge...Two towels for a bit more than the price of one. Does an excellent job.
For detailing I use the green Cobra detail towels (16x16). For windows I really like the grey waffle weave window towels. A couple of pairs of the Cobra microfiber gloves also come in handy.
They hold up well in the wash. Two years after delivery, my MB remains virtually free of scratches, swirl marks; etc. I often see luxury cars around town that still have the dealer paper plates but whose paint is not nearly as nice as mine.
Wayne's Towels
There can be big differences in MF towels. Some sewn borders on cheaply made MF towels will scratch finishes as will the tags if they have them. (At least remove the tags)
You would think if they can afford the big bucks for these cars they could afford at least to pay someone to clean it right if they won't/can't do it themselves
