Crayola mess, help needed . . .

Crayola mess, help needed . . .
Does anybody have any good ideas on how to get out blue crayola from the fabric seat? A small portion of crayon (hidden in my daughter's pocket) fell out and melted onto the car seat fabric. I cleaned as best as I could but still ended up with a several centimeter blue blob (faded from the original, but still embarassing).

Just this past weekend my son left a box of crayons (a little four pack handed out by the cafe where we'd just had lunch) sitting on the rear center arm rest on my CLK55. We came out after seeing "Singing in the Rain" and found a red & white river of wax across the arm rest and down the seat back.
Ice & patience got all of the solid wax off, Lexol and elbow grease got every trace off the surface & out of the seams (the cloth stitches were by far the most difficult to get the red out of).
My mess was on leather. For cloth, I'd try GooGone to cut the wax, then whatever your favorite fabric cleaner is to remove the oily GooGone residue.
Good luck

Try a folded clean cotton cloth, and apply heat with an iron. The heat should melt the wax and it will wick into the cotton. turn the cloth frequently. Keep applying, this will get most or all of it.
Works on carpet too.

Beth's helpful cleaning tips
The trick for ball point pens marks and crayons is hairspray. Don't ask me why, but it really does work.
I would use ice to get all the wax off first, and then give the hairspray a try.
Also, I would try a test spot first to see how the gair spray affects the fabric, but this should take care of it.
Good luck

Now, I imagine nail polish is something that you definitely don't want to get on the seats.

Bob, haven't seen your picture either, tell ya what, I'll make you the same deal I made Tommy. You post a picture of yourself in a speedo, and I'll post one in a string bikini or a thong bikini (we can have a poll to decide once you post a picture)
