Bodywork in Clevland???

Both front doors on my 1998 C230 are rusting right underneath the door molding. This seems to be a regular occurrence with the W202. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good body shop / paint shop in the Cleveland area? The MB dealers around town all outsource their bodywork and I’m fearful of leaving my car in the hands of the average body shop. Dublin MB is certified by MB in bodywork and keeps the business in-house, but the dealership is almost 2-hours away. HELP PLEASE!!

Hey -

Absolutely, positively, without a doubt call Wasco's. He's located in Willoughby just off Vine and Rt. 2.

I used to be manager for Classic Cadillac and I sent EVERY one of my cars needing paint and body work to him. I've never seen anyone match paint the way he does. Doesn't matter if your car is 10 days or 10 years old - the guy is amazing.

I've also referred several friends and family to him. Uncle's Sebring needed an entire quarter panel repainted - perfect. Friend's mom got her '94 convertible repainted - perfect. My dad hit a deer with his STS and Rick matched his white diamond paint on the new bumper, fender and hood perfectly.

Look him up in the yellow pages. Tell him Steve from the old Classic Cadillac sent you. Good luck.
