It depends on what kind of scratches you are talking about, and how deep they are. If you're talking of the very fine type of scratches that cause swirl marks, these can normally be buffed out with a random orbital buffer and some abbrassive polish. See this thread for more details on that:

https://mbworld.org/forums/detailing-automotive-care/13563-how-buffing-out-swirl-marks-porter-cable-buffer-updated.html

If the scratches are deeper, you might want to consider moving up to a high speed buffer. See this thread for details:

https://mbworld.org/forums/detailing-automotive-care/17340-how-use-high-speed-buffer.html

For even deeper scratches that have not penetrated the paint, you can also try so wet sanding.

These methods are only recommended if you know and understand what you are doing since you can cause some serious damage to your finish if you do it wrong.

If the scratch is through the paint to either the primer or the metal, this can only be fixed by re-painting, which I would highly recommend you leave to the pros.

hey what about that paint cleaner you buy from the dealer? it was really good when it came to taking out key marks scratches from doors etc.... but they don't help what so ever when it came to tiny minute scratches it won't help either if the scratch went all the way to the metal

Rev, what about scratches on the door handle wells. I believe they are caused by finger nails? It would'nt be too easy to use a buffer in that area.
