Final Inspection and Meguiars Gold wax
Hi all, I washed my car a last weekend and put a coat of Gold wax on. This weekend I want to put another coat of wax on the car. Is it alright to just do a once over with Meguiars Final Inspection to get all the dust off and then put another coat of wax on? Or do I have to wash the whole car again?
Thanks if you reply.

Wash your car if it has been driven anywhere. If it been sitting in the garage untouched, then I would lightly dust off any dust with a MF or cotton towel, then proceed to wax. But I would never wax or seal after 1 or 2 days of driving with just a QD as prep. Trust me, 1 day of driving will leave enough minute gunk on your paint that a QD will not remove. You'll just be swirling up your paint when you apply and remove the wax.
Just my $0.02.

Thanks for that David.
Yeah, I did notice when I went over the car with final inspection how much dust had accumulated. I wasn't even sure whether I sould be going over the car with a cotton towel but I assumed that the coat of wax I put on over a week ago would prevent swirls.
Cheers,
