ZPC + Z5 Question
After I buff the car using ZPC, I know I can apply Z5 without washing the vehicle. My question is am I required to use accelerator with the Z5? Or will the ZPC take the place of the Z1?
Thanks,
W Cole

I believe the Z1 is for non-clear coat cars. After applying the Z5 you have to wait for 30 minutes then buff with a clean cotton or microfiber cloth.I would then do a coat of Z2 with ZFX additive then hit it with Z6 detailing spray and then repeat the process 1 more time.

If you do not use ZFX with the Z5 then you must apply Z1 first. Zaino works on both clear coat and non clear coated cars. If you apply Z5 without ZFX or without applying Z1 first the product (Z2 or Z5) will not bond correctly with your paint. You DO NOT want to do this.
Im all out of ZFX what I want to know is will the ZPC take the place of Z1, thus I wont be required to use ZFX with the Z5 or apply a coat of Z1.
I want someone to confirm this assumption though.
Thanks,
W Cole

Out Of Control!!
I have not read anything that says the ZPC takes the place of Z1 or the ZFX, so I would assume you would still have to use one or the other. If someone knows otherwise, please post.
Z1 can be used for both clear coats and non clear coats, and must be used as a base coat before applying Z2, Z3, or Z5 unless you are using ZFX.

Got a question..
So,I applied one coat of Z-PC by hand and the result was nothing I guess, all the swirls were still there, perhaps a bit less..I was just wondering if I can apply multiple coats of Z-PC to my car? I heard Z-PC was a pretty strong product and you cannot apply to your car that often like Z-5!

The difference between Z-PC and Z-5 is that Z-PC is an abrasive polish while Z-5 is a non abrasive sealant. Z-5 will not fix your swirls it will simply cover them up. Z-PC will fix very small imperfections - it is a VERY mild abrasive. I would not bother applying Z-PC by hand you wont be able to fix any of the swirls. The only way to fix the swirls is to get a more aggresive polish and I would recommend using a random orbital buffer. I have found polishing by hand to be useless.

Sorry I tried my best to answer your question. Yes you may apply multiple coats - however doing so, especially by hand, is almost completely pointless.
The only way to get rid of the swirls is to use a more abrasive polish and an orbital buffer.
