A good Porter Cable tip for y'all

Used the porter cable (PC) today for my second detail and realized something that may be a helpful tip. When I was putting on my Menzerna FMJ last time, I noticed that the PC would throw polish if I let it spin off of the car (messy and annoying), like I was using too much. But I was using just what I was supposed to use (with a black Lake Country pad). Turns out it just gets saturated and the FMJ goes a long way...

So what I learned today was that after a few applications of polish, the pad was saturated again and I didn't have to keep applying ANY polish. What I would do was let the tension off of the PC to let the RPMs build up; what would happen is that the polish in the pad would start to spin off slightly and come to the top of the pad. What this means is that i didn't have to keep starting and stopping the PC (to add polish). I just kept going and going and getting the car nice and covered using the technique of pressure and then hardly any pressure to let the pad spin and put out some of its polish.

Figured I'd share.
