makita 9227c
I just got a Makita 9227c, I know rpm speed shouldnt exceed 1,200rpm. But what should i have the dial on, accorind to my machine that would be dial 2 setting. AM i correct?

At times, you'll use 1500 on extremely hard clear...that is setting 3. About 2.5 is for 1200.
That was the drawback to the Makita over the Dewalt. They have a wheel that goes by the actual RPM, instead of a #. However, the Dewalt is a good bit heavier.
