Question Anyone use MR.CLEAN AUTO DRY ? washing without spots or wiping.

I saw the segment on a local news station...you can wash it and then rinse it and then rinse it with a filter clip and you just let it dry and no water spots and you dont have to wipe it....sounds too good to be true but a lot of people say it really works i saw it on local news they tested it out to see if it worked and they showed that it works...but the downside is it cost like 50 bucks and you have to buy refills.

I got it on sale at Target for around 20 bucks. It wasnt the pro-series. Didn't work for me. Maybe I was doing it wrong. I used it once and still had to bust out my chamois to dry it.

I haven’t read or heard of many 'success' stories with this product, but a reoccurring theme is that it leaves a creasy film behind. Rotate 180

Auto Dry Works for Me

I have been using this device, when I rinse the car with the low velocity setting I take my time and apply like you would paint the car. It does feel slow.

I did see an inline water filter for sale for the same purpose, it attached to the hose house outlet and than the hose, it may have been in a Griots Garage Catalog.

An important part of the success of the spot free drying is that the whole procedure should be done under shade, not in any direct sunlight.

Cool Mr Clean Is The Best Ever!!!

I have been using the Mr. Clean Auto dry since it first came out a few years ago. Haven't switched to the Pro yet. I received an introductory offer in the mail for it and some deal, something like a free filter with purchase type of thing. At first it was kind of hard getting used to it, but after a while I got the hang of it. A major tip is WASH THE CAR IN THE SHADE. I used to wash it in the sun and got frustrated with the results. With trial and error I realized that the best results were in the shade. It's not completely hands free but the results are worthwhile. The first thing to do is make sure the car is cool. Rinse the car with the regular rinse on the Mr. CLean. Next, switch to the rinse with the soap. Use only the Mr. Clean auto dry soap, I tried a different one and it didn't work the same. Here's another tip, wash the car in sections. After spraying a section with the soapy rinse, turn off the spray (the switch), either brush or hand scrub the part with the soap. Rinse off what you scrubbed or brushed with the regular rinse and repeat for the rest of the car. Finally, apply the SPOT FREE spray all over the car. It feels almost as if you are painting the car lol and watch it dry. Final tips: The process is pretty fast if you have someone helping you out, pour out the unused soap back in the bottle, keep an eye on the filter, and remember, WASH IN THE SHADE. All in all I don't spend that much time washing my car and actually enjoy it.
