Okay, got a huge layer of Leathique on the seats right now and she is baking in the sun. Was scared to do the "put a pool in your hands and slather it on thing", but once you get the hang of it, it was fine.
Really felt like the seats were soaking it in.
We'll see what she looks like later this PM....will post after pics, already posted before.

Heyyyyyy, so far so good!!!
Got the white film on it (it's like 100 here so the car was blazin hot end of day)
Guess I was just hoping for these cracks to be gone. Not giving up though. Leather does feel reeeallll soft now.
BEFORE (UNTREATED) and in need of a vacuum
TREATED BELOW (2nd treament...actually kinda 1.5...I think I blew the first treament)

Congrats Jakpro1,
I just emailed Leatherique with some specific questions about my type of leather. As soon as they get back to me telling me how much I need, I'm trying the RO and PC too.

I wrote to Leatherique, LLC today - 4th of July - and George has already gotten back to me (also on the holiday) with an answer to my question.
I just ordered the 32oz Special (RO + PC) for $55 (S/H slightly more) using their 24/7 website.
I can't wait to try these seemingly amazing products!

Nah, haven't done any other treatments yet.
Will post soon as I do though.
Yeah, don't think my cracks will be 100$% gone, nice product though.
Kinda was hoping for the miracle, but so far pleased with the results.

It will soften the leather and prevent new cracks though.

1st use of leatherique
I just applied RO to my 1992 BMW 325iC. Needless to say the seats were like cardboard and in bad shape due to neglect by prior owners, the sun, etc. being a convert. I had been using sheepskin covers for the better part of the last 2 years due to their poor condition. Here are some before picks.... I will post more after a few applications

Here are some pics after applying RO and PC 2 times over the weekend. The seats never got "tacky", but there was a faint amount of the white residue. The seats are a little softer now, and the areas that weren't pretty much beyond repair look better. All in all I probably need a few more treatments. BTW, can you over use these products?

They actually look worse now in these pics
Here are a few more....The backseat which was in better shape looks a lot better, and even so I can "feel" the difference.

if your seats were treated with armorall over the years then I would suggest you wet sand first to get rid of the silicone coat. The seats will soak the oil in much faster then.

Even though Leatherique seems to be the ultimate leather treatment, I'm guessing that the prior owners of your BMW did nothing at all, and practically anything is better than doing nothing.

My first Benz was a Florida car, and I think that suffered the same fate. The seats were not bad, but there were annoying cracks in the vinyl (MB Tex) dashboard.
Good luck with the back seats - they DO seem to be salvageable. Heck, M-B sells sheepskin seat covers as another one of their pricey accessories!

Carnag - another thought
Depending on the condition of the rest of the car (and how much you like it of course), you might consider having a good auto re-upholstering shop do the front seats. A price quote should cost you nothing except a few minutes of your time. I doubt that the fronts will exactly match the backs, but if it's close, only you and your upholsterer will know!
If you decide to do that, THEN use the Leatherique to keep them like new.
Good luck,
Musikmann

W124, 320E, 1995.
Hello all. I have a W124, E320, 1995, I just purchased the car like 2 months ago, the fron seats, where not as per my satisfaction so I had them changed with a leather re upholstery kit from mercedes.
Now tha back was in exellent shape for being 11 years all, I mean just in great shape.
I tried leatherique on the back seat this weekend 28 Hours, temperature was well over 90 in tha car.
I can not see much difference rigth now, other than the shine is almost gone.
I will waith a week and do all the seats even the new ones to keep them well maintained
