1995 BMW 325i (JET BLACK)

I did this job in the wine country... actually before it in Napa. The owner wanted me to work on everything on the exterior including some touch up, but he didn't want me to touch the side skirts or bumpers.

Overall, po106ff finished off everything. There were a bunch of deep scratches that I didn't want to diminish the clear coat for so I finished them as best as I could.
Pictures: I forgot to bring my camera so Ron was kind enough to let me use his. I didn't know that the sun would wash out a lot of the pictures so not all of them came out the way I wanted.

Product Used:
Exterior
Wash w/ ONR
Clay w/ AutoMagic Detailing Clay
Rewash w/ ONR detailing lube
Touched up with Paintscratch.com
Sanded w/ 3m 2000grit wet/dry sand paper
Compounded with HT-EC by Hand
HTEC/OP 50/50 mix w/ LC Orange 1500-1800rpm
PO106FF w/ Megs Tan Finish Pad 1500-->900rpm
Klasse AIO w/ LC White Pad PC 4
RMG w/ Megs Tan Finishing Pad PC 4
Megs 26 Wax w/ Megs Tan Finishing Pad PC 4
Stoners Invisible Glass on Windows
Megs Hot Shine on Tires
Megs Hot Wheel on Tires
TOL Best Dressed on Wheel Wells

Interior
303 Aero Protectant on Vinyl
Lexol Leather Cleaner on everything else

Before:

Afters:

Started: 11AM
Ended: 7:30PM
Note: Things started turning out better when I went a little more aggressive on the Wet sand (caution, don't do this if you never done it). Also, specs on the hood were random pitting that was all over the hood.

Thanks guys. Clay works wonders but on this car it wasn't as needed. Greg, how come you don't post in autopia?

I do read on there from time to time. It can be a great resource but there tends to be a lot of bickering on there at times. I tend to spend my time on my detailing forum www.detailuniversity.com. We opened up just over four months ago and we already have over 500 members and tons of great content which is building fast. Maybe if you get time you can join this forum and list your services on there in our "Find a Detailer" section. Great work on that car and I hope to see you on Detail University!
