Sun tan cream fingerprints on paintwork
Suggestions please to remove the above, left by one of my kids, on one of the rear passenger door exterior paintwork & also on my bonnet, when he kissed (!) it with his face/cheek. Don't you just love kids.
Is it simply a case of T-cut & polish? Car shampoo has zero effect.
Thanks
Chris

After washing the surface there are a lots of different ways you should be able to remove the lotion. I would first try wiping down those surfaces with Goo-Gone or a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth (microfiber preferably). If that doesn't work you can try using a clay bar and then polish it as you suggested. If you need to polish (i.e. Menzerna Final Polish II) I would start with a light polish and get more aggressive as needed. Please let me know if you have any questions about these suggestions or anything else related to detailing.

Many thanks Greg. Extremely helpful. I'm used to using Autoglym products, however always open to an alternative solution. Great website you got.
