Sun Damage??
is it true that the sun causes damage to the paint on your car?
my car is left outside because my parents cars take over the garage and mine is stuck outside
just wondering if it did

Hey Memphis, welcome to the Forum!
At least here in Florida, the sun can burn up the paint (well, I'm told the sun actually heats-up the paint, and evaporates the less-dense fluids contained therein ... like water) ... and burns through to as much as the base-coat ... and in extreme cases ... the all the way to the primer-coat.
Where in CT are you? I did some time in New Haven (not jail, but school!).

Sun Damage
Proper maintenance becomes much more important if a car is exposed to the elements. It is critical to keep a good coat of wax on the paint. I remember the days before I had a garage. Most cars had owners. Mine had staff.
