How to get rid of yuckie Armor All
OK, I am considering picking up a used 1 owner car. The owner, kinda a clueless guy has proudly dressed it up with Armor All the whole inside. It's yuckie and I still feel the stuff on my butt now as I am sitting here tying this thread.
What do I have to do to get rid of the stuff if/when I buy this car?

I would try to buff off as much as possible with a terry cloth towel. Then try some mild cleaners.
Here ask them.

Congrats on the new vehicle!!!
I would use a damp towel at first and then a leather cleaner. The Leatherique Prestine Clean would work well in this case to remove the Armor All and clean the surface and add light conditioners. You could also use a diluted degreaser like the Poorboy's World APC (10:1 ratio of water to cleaner) and wipe the seats. If you use any degreaser I would recommend wiping the seats down again after with a damp cloth and then using a leather cleaner and conditioner. Let me know if you have any other questions about detailing your new ride.

Greg, as I expected, you are the greatest. What do I use on the hard surfaces? Not the seats, but all the other surfaces surrounding.

You could use the same diluted degreaser if you want. I clean virtually my whole interior with the 303 Cleaner and Spot Remover (pre-diluted) or the 303 Fabric / Vinyl Cleaner (concentrated). This cleaner is outstanding at safely removing contaminates from anything vinyl, plastic, fabric, and more. I use it on the dashboard, doors, engine bay, carpets, occasionally for stains on leather, etc. This is probably one of my favorite products to use on the interior because it is so versatile and safe to use. If you dilute the concentrate or use the pre-diluted version you can clean your seats with this as well to remove the armor all. Let me know if I can help you any further!
